Stocks plummet, stock market crash looming?

Could we be facing the biggest stock market crash since the devastating crash of 1929 also known as Black Tuesday?

For months now there has been talk of a potential stock market crash, such as this article on Seeking Alpha yet it is difficult to think that anyone paid heed to these warnings as we now see another potential financial crisis.

As the Dow closed more than 500 points down yesterday, investors in eastern markets were selling hard and fast tis morning in order to avoid what could be another crash.

I would hate to see whats going to happen when the NYSE opens later. Most stock market crashes are driven by panic selling and if the eastern markets are anything to go buy, then we should see a wave of panic selling which may very well cause a dent in world wide economies.
