Violent riots rock Tottenham after police kill man
Scores of Policemen have been taken to hospital after being attacked by a mob of around 300 people in Tottenham, North London, last night.
Stores on the high street have been looted and petrol bombs thrown at police vehicles.
This comes on the heels of the shooting of a man by police on Thursday.
While the story behind the death of Mark Duggan is unclear, it is apparent that he shot at a policeman while in the back of a minicab and as a result officers fired back wounding him fatally. His family and friends held a vigil for him on Saturday night protesting his killing. The vigil then turned into a mass riot where busses and cars were set alight, shops and stores were looted and raided and general mayhem ensued.
Even busses were set alight.
News teams were forced to pull out of the area after being attacked by the mob.
