Another installation of call of duty on the way and this one sets to be yet another smash hit.
Being big time gamers, we appreciate a nice lan session where we can shoot each other in the face in multiplayer but at the same time, we also enjoy the single player missions.
According to sources, MW3 is going to have a survival mode, kind of like a co op thing where killing and surviving earns you cash to upgrade and buy ammo and new weapons, which sounds kinda funky but at the same time, I hope its not like that very boring game that sooo many people were playing years ago, counter strike.
The story line apparently continues with some familiar characters, Captain John “Soap” MacTavish, Captain John Price and the Russians, Nikolai and Vladimir Makarov.
After Blackops, I am looking forward to this game with gusto!

I found something really cool that I thought would be nice to write about, it’s called snapt by www.snapt-ui.com
We all know that open source software in not only good on the pocket but sometimes truly amazing. But to be fair, sometimes many people are left in the dark when it comes to using open source software, especially those that do not ship with a decent user friendly UI. And this is where snapt comes in.
What snapt essentially is, is a user manager and a really professional frontend UI for various open source software, currently they support ha proxy and squid but there’s more coming down the line in the form of plugins which are known as snaptins.
The system comes with LDAP authentification so it can be used with open ldap or active directory which makes it a complete breeze to authenticate your users.
This system was developed for people like me, who love FOSS but struggle with what goes on in the backend.
Currently it supports HAproxy and Squid but I did make a request for them to support varnish cache in the future, so I am waiting to hear more about that.
I suggest you check this out as it’s pretty damn awesome!
